MARTIN — Mrs. Margie Nell Dillon, 84, died Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at her residence in Martin. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.
Mrs. Dillon was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Dillon, her parents, Oscar Harry Fincher and Rosie Irene Oxley Fincher, two brothers, Thomas Fincher and Junior Fincher.
Mrs. Dillon was a retired nursing professor and chairman of the nursing program at The University of Tennessee at Martin.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila (John) Fairless of North Venice, Florida, two sons, Douglas (Susan) Dillon of Largo, Florida and Charles (Brenda) Dillon of Martin; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and five step-great-grandchildren. Murphy Funeral Home.
