JOHNNY PETTY, SR. 1948 — 2020

DRESDEN — Private graveside funeral services for Mr. Johnny Petty Sr., 71, of Dresden, were Sunday, April 26, in Salem Cemetery in Rutherford, Tenn.

Mr. Petty died on April 23, at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in Martin. Mr. Petty was born August 16, 1948 in Kenton, Tenn., to the late James and Mary Sue Crowell Petty. He is survived by his wife, Martha (Tosh) Petty of Dresden, his sons, Johnny Petty, Jr. of Palmersville, Chris (Jenny) Petty of Martin, Chad (Robbie) Petty of Martin, his sisters, Anne Petty Lutz of Dresden, Phyllis (William) Biggers of Dresden, Brenda (Paul) Hoover of Dover, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jason Scott Petty. Bowlin Funeral Home.
