Westview to Celebrate National FFA Week with Assorted Activities

A Stilhl weed eater is one of the items to be auctioned off at the Annual Westview FFA Alumni Auction and Dinner on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.

A weeklong celebration of all things FFA will kick off at Westview H.S. on Monday, February 20th.
Dress-up Days
Westview High School students are set to celebrate National FFA Week February 20th – 24th by having dress-up days.
• Monday: Students are out of school. Thank a farmer on this President’s Day. Many may not know that George Washington was a farmer.
• Tuesday: ‘Merica Day’ – Show your USA pride by wearing red, white and blue.
• Wednesday: Western Wednesday – It›s rodeo time, so wear your favorite western wear (no ball caps; western hats only).
• Thursday: Camo Day – Students are encouraged to wear camo clothing (no hats).
• Friday: Crazy Spirit – wear blue and gold to show your FFA and Charger pride.

Auction and Dinner
Everyone is invited to attend the Annual Westview FFA Alumni Auction and Dinner, which is scheduled to take place in Westview’s cafeteria on Friday, March 3rd, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
All students, parents, alumni, and guests are encouraged to attend. The meal costs $10 per person, $5 for children 5-10, and those age 4 and under eat free.
One of the items to be auctioned off is a brand new Stilhl weed eater donated by Napa in Martin. If anyone has items they wish to donate, please contact an advisor or officer. The auction helps with the student cost to attend the Tennessee FFA State Convention March 18th- 22nd, and several other events throughout the school year, such as National Convention, the FFA Legislative Breakfast, and FFA Summer Camp at Camp Clements.
