SANTA’S IN TOWN – Santa Clause was riding high and spreading holiday cheer during Gleason’s first-ever Christmas Parade of Lights on Saturday, Dec. 3. Santa stayed after the parade to meet with local residents – especially young children wanting to share their Christmas wishes – at City Hall, which was decked out with holiday decorations

HOLIDAY SINGING – Children from Weakley County took to the stage at the Martin Public Library to bring in the holiday season with singing and dancing on Dec. 3.

FUN ON A FLOAT – These young elves seem to be having fun while riding on the Gleason Gazelles’ float in the first-ever Gleason Christmas Parade of Lights on Dec. 3.

ROLLING NATIVITY – Gleason First Baptist Church provided this rolling nativity scene during the first-ever Gleason Christmas Parade of Lights on Saturday.

HOLIDAY CHEER – Gleason High School girls basketball players and cheerleaders spread some holiday cheer as they ride in the Dec. 3 Gleason Christmas Parade of Lights.

JOYFUL MEETING – Santa Clause also made an appearance in Martin on Saturday and met with many different people from around Weakley County, proving that the magic of Christmas knows no age limits.

THE BIG MAN HIMSELF – Santa Claus himself was present at the Kiwanis Christmas Parade. His reindeer were unable to attend but Santa was still spreading holiday cheer and warm wishes to those in attendance.

LOCAL CRAFTS FOR CHRISTMAS – Kindred Spirits Crafting Co. came to Greenfield during the Christmas Greenfield Style event to offer patrons a chance to shop for Christmas presents with a local flare.

SECOND PLACE – VanAyer Healthcare and Rehab Center showed their creative side as workers created a little piece of Whoville right here in Martin and won Second Place in the Commercial Float category in the Kiwanis Club Christmas Parade..

CHRISTMAS WISHES – Brooks Legens, 7, of Gleason tells his Christmas wishes to Santa during Gleason Hometown Christmas celebrations Dec. 3 in a very decked out city hall.

SANTA ON A HOG – A member of the Patriot Guard Riders dressed as Santa Clause rides in style through Downtown Martin during the Kiwanis Club Christmas Parade.

GRINCH CLAUSE – The Grinch appeared to be in a festive mood during Monday night’s Kiwanis Club Christmas Parade as he drove in the back of a lit-up truck dressed as Santa Clause, bringing a mischievous attitude to the parade.

HARVESTING FESTIVE CHEER – Local farmers showed off their tractors, decked out in Christmas lights and other decorations during the Kiwanis Christmas Parade.

A BOOK FULL – Audrey Dunning shows Santa Clause and Mrs. Clause a magazine of toys which she hopes will be under her tree this Christmas. Santa made an appearance at Greenfield during their Christmas Greenfield Style, which offered crafts, caroling, and meets with Santa.
