Dresden High School Freshman Myra Morgan (middle) participated in the Shooting Hunger competition in Nashville in September. She is a part of the team No Fly Zone in Henry County which won 2nd Place with Morgan herself receiving a $500 scholarship for her shooting skills. She was awarded this scholarship from representatives from Farm Credit Mid-America and Shooting Hunger. This event was hosted by Shooting Hunger, which is an organization sponsored by Tennessee Farm Bureau and Farm Credit Mid-America to help feed hungry Tennesseans through regional food banks.
