After upsetting McEwen a couple of weeks ago, Gleason has set itself up well for the post-season.
Last Friday, the Bulldogs defeated host Perry County 40-0 to go 3-2 in Region 6A play. Should Gleason subdue South Fulton in the season finale, it will lock up third in the regional standings.
Drake Lovell rushed for touchdowns of 5 and 15 yards. Bulldogs quarterback Kyzer Crochet had touchdown tosses of 40 and 45 yards.
Garrett Pinkston caught a 40-yard scoring pass while Drake Lehmkuhl hauled in a 45-yard TD aerial. Austin Clark added a 3-yard TD run. Lovell converted four two-point tries while Clark tacked on one.
Pinkston paced the defense with a pair of interceptions.
Gleason is 5-4 overall and hosts South Fulton Friday. Game time is 7:00 p.m., and the Bulldogs will be honoring their football seniors in pregame ceremonies that night at around 6:30 p.m.
