Linda Carol Pettit 1949 – 2022

Linda Carol (Higgs) Pettit, age 73, of Dresden passed away September 22, 2022 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, NE. Funeral service will be held Friday 9/30/2022 in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery near Latham.  Visitation will be Thursday evening at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again on Friday from 12 noon until service time at 2:00 pm. Linda was born January 30, 1949 to the late Thomas and Mary (Dunn) Higgs in Martin, TN. She is survived by her husband, Charles Pettit of Dresden, her son, Chuck (Sara) Pettit of Gray, GA., her daughter, Beth Pettit Todd of Dresden, her brother, Bill Higgs of Gibson, TN., and her grandchildren; Courtlyn Pettit of Clito, GA., Caleb Pettit of Odessa, TX., Kelbie Forrester of Gray, GA., Kenzie Forrester of Lakeland, FL., Jacob (Katie) Gatewood of Lavista, NE. and Luke Gatewood of Vilseck, Germany.
