Scates and Stafford to Wed
Grady Connell Stafford and Samantha McCall Scates
The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Samantha McCall Scates and Grady Connell Stafford are being announced today. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Trent (Beth) Scates of Greenfield. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mark (Cris) Stafford of Gleason.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don (Natalie) Scates and Mrs. Delores Wright, and the late Phillip Ray Wright of Greenfield, Tennessee. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Gwen Armour, also of Greenfield.
McCall is a 2014 graduate of Greenfield High School. She received a BS degree of Athletic Training from Bethel University and is currently enrolled as a student seeking a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She is employed by Dynamix Physical Therapy in Greenfield.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mrs. Dorothy Glenn Connell and the late Jerry Connell and Mrs. Shirley Cunningham Stafford, all of Gleason.
Grady is a 2015 graduate of Gleason High School. He holds certificates in Diesel Technician Assistant and Diesel-Powered Equipment Technology from Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Newbern, Tennessee. He is currently employed at Granges of Huntingdon and is a member of the Gleason Volunteer Fire Department.
The couple will exchange vows Saturday, July 16, 2022, at The Venue at Twin Oaks in Humboldt, Tennessee. Music will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the ceremony starting at 6 p.m. A reception will follow.
