UTM Students Inducted into Order of Engineers

MARTIN (June 3) – Several Weakley County students graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin on May 7 after being inducted into the Order of Engineers during a separate ceremony that morning. The induction ceremony is a way for graduating engineering students to show pride in their new profession and unity with fellow engineers. Participating students recite a pledge to uphold honor, workmanship and ethics in their upcoming careers.
Braden Cooper of Dresden earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and graduated magna cum laude.
Daphne De Oliveira Pratt, an international student from Great Britain residing in Martin, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
David Fieser of Martin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and graduated magna cum laude.
Asa Jones of Martin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
Blake McCollum of Martin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
Kaylin Patel of Martin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and graduated cum laude.
