Big Ten Finish

People in Greenfield had reason to celebrate over the weekend as they watched Miss Basketball and Greenfield alumna Chloe Moore’s college team, Indiana Hoosiers, make it to the Big Ten tournament. Indiana fell to Iowa in the championship game, 74-67, in Indianapolis. The Hoosiers, now 22-8, will likely be a host school in the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament and a top-four seed. Moore was a part of the Greenfield Lady Jackets’ undefeated team in 2020, when they headed to the state championship, only to be sent home without the final games being played as a result of COVID-19.
