Charles Edward Porch 1940 – 2022

Charles Edward Porch, age 82, formerly of Greenfield, Tennessee, died Wednesday, January 19, 2022. A funeral service was held Saturday January 22, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial followed in Highland Cemetery in Greenfield. Visitation was held Friday from 5-7 p.m., also at Williams Funeral Home.

Mr. Porch is survived by his wife, Norma Porch of Rutherford, Tennessee. He is also survived by four daughters: Lisa Porch of Greenfield, Tennessee; Devonda Hopkins of Como, Tennessee; Andrea Porch of McKenzie, Tennessee; and Kelia Laster of Dyer, Tennessee. He leaves behind a sister, Vedia Proffit of Hornbeak, Tennessee. Mr. Porch also leaves behind seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Sarah Porch. Mr. Porch was a mason for 50 yrs at the Bone #252 Lodge. He also made several missionary trips with the Disaster Relief Team from the Union City Second Baptist Church.
