The Greenfield City Board of mayor and aldermen approved the third and final reading of the city’s budget and tax rate, for fiscal year 2019-2020, during their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 11.

The citizens of Greenfield don’t have to worry about paying higher taxes in the coming year, thanks to city board members working out a budget that contains no property tax increase.

Under the FY 2019-2020 budget, the tax rate remains set at $1.7322 per $100 of assessed value.
