Dresden Board approves first reading of 2019-20 Budget








The Dresden Board of Mayor and Alderman Monday night approved a proposed city budget for the 2019-20 tax year on first reading along with a proposal to increase the property tax rate by 10 cents to fund the proposed general fund portion of the budget.

Both the proposed budget and property tax rate of $1.4837 will receive a public hearing and a second reading at the June meeting of the city board.   At Monday night’s meeting, all four members of the board present voted to approve the proposed budget and property tax rate to fund the budget.
