A large group of volunteers from local churches affiliated with the Weakley County Baptist Association recently completed a mission trip to Puerto Rico, where they helped repair homes damaged by Hurricane Maria. The group also held Vacation Bible School for the local children, and worship services at a couple of local churches.
Members of the Weakley County Baptist Association have just returned from a two-week mission trip to Puerto Rico, where they helped make repairs to residences damaged by Hurricane Maria, which struck on September 20, 2017.
There were 36 Weakley Countians from 12 different churches that volunteered to go on the mission trip. They left on January 19 and returned January 26.
