Reward totaling $2,500 offered in gun theft case

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Weakley County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a gun collection in rural Weakley County.

 

 

According to Sheriff’s Investigator Captain Randall McGowan, on January 24, a house located on Tumbling Creek Road east of Gleason was broken into and over 40 guns were taken from a gun safe.

 

 

The owner of the stolen firearms is offering a $2,500 reward for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person who broke into the house and took the firearms.

 

 

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department.
