Sharon board considers installing and enforcing stricter health and sanitation ordinance; hires new librarian

Deena Smith was hired as the new librarian at Sharon Library, following the resignation of Kathy Watson, who resigned to accept the position of librarian at the Dr. Nathan Porter Library in Greenfield.

 

One of the major topics for discussion at Monday night’s meeting of the Sharon City Board was developing and enforcing a new ordinance dealing with unhealthy, unsafe and dilapidated properties.
After accepting the resignation of Kathy Watson, who was hired as librarian at the Dr. Nathan Porter Library in Greenfield, the Board voted to hire Deena Smith as the new librarian at Sharon Library.
