SUV sideswipes vehicle and runs into Greenfield home, driver arrested

A Dresden man faces multiple alcohol-related charges, after his SUV struck another vehicle, then ran off the road and plowed into the side of Weakley County residence.

 

A Dresden motorist was arrested on multiple charges early Wednesday morning, after crashing into another vehicle, and then slamming into the home of Kristofer and Rachel Smith, located on Highway 54, just outside the city limits of Greenfield.

 
Eric Gibson McCartney, 20, of D&C Subdivision in Dresden, is charged with driving under the influence (1st offense), two counts of reckless endangerment with a vehicle, violation of the drinking age law and burglary. Other charges may be pending.
