Dresden Police Department officers were recognized for their service to the community during the meeting. A floating wetland lagoon project, which was re-bid due to being over the amount allowed in a $347,399 CDBG grant, came in within the allotted amount and was approved unanimously by the Dresden City Board during last Tuesday night’s meeting.
After receiving a letter from A2H stating that Diversified Contractor, Inc. of McKenzie submitted the low bid of $289,989, the board unanimously approved the bid on a motion by Alderman Lyndal Dilday and second by Alderman Sandra Klutz.
A request by local landowner to have his property annexed into the city limits of Dresden, was on the agenda.
Two animal permit applications were also approved.

Concerning Dresden’s Walking Trail Project, Mayor Washburn noted there are several items on the punch list the contractor must complete before the City signs off on the job and authorizes final payment.
Drafting a fireworks ordinance was also discussed.
