Weakley Countians enjoy the ability to have regular access to the fine arts unlike many other rural areas of the country.

THE DAVID JOHNSON CHORUS

The University of Tennessee at Martin provides a continuing source for patrons of the arts with regularly scheduled drama plays, musical presentations, and visual art displays. Fine art presentations at the University of Tennessee at Martin are normally open to the public.

Bethel College in McKenzie at the border with Weakley County in Carroll County also holds many fine arts presentations including drama plays, musical presentations and visual art displays open to the public.

The Kentucky-Tennessee Youth Orchestra has regular auditions for persons interested in participating in this organization. The orchestra schedules performances on a regular basis.

Band and choral groups also make musical presentations in the local county school system.

Each community in Weakley County has a library that provides a source for the literary arts.
