April Dawn Kayser
April Dawn Kayser, 30, of Sharon, died Thursday, April 17,
2008, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services
for Mrs. Kayser were held Monday, April 21, 2008, at 1:00
p.m. at Sidonia Baptist Church. Burial followed in Pleasant
Grove Cemetery. Bro. Tommy Harrison and Bro. Jim Garner
officiated the services.
Mrs. Kayser worked for Plastech Engineering. She was born
April 27, 1977 in Union City. Mrs. Kayser was preceded in
death by her grandparents, Eugene "Dick" Harrison and Nadene
Harrison.
Mrs. Kayser is survived by her father, Mark Allen of Sharon;
her mother, Sylvia Allen of Sharon; a daughter, Hailey Dawn
Kayser of Sharon; a son, Jacob Austin Kayser of Sharon; two
brothers, James Michael Allen of Sidonia, and Joshua
(Bethany) Allen of Martin; her grandfather, Bob Allen of
Greenfield; her grandmother, Eva Lois Allen of Greenfield;
and her husband, Jason Kayser of Sharon.
Fred Harrison Kibbler
Fred Harrison Kibbler, 93, of Palmersville, died Thursday,
April 17, 2008, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Funeral services for Mr. Kibbler were held Monday, April 21,
2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden.
Burial followed in Palmersville Cemetery. Bro. Brian Crow
and Bro. Nathan Legate officiated the services.
Mr. Kibbler was retired from Ford Motor Company and he was a
member of the Weakley County Church of Christ. He was a
native of Fulton, Kentucky and was born September 16, 1914
to the late Ben H. and Dora Hester Parham Kibbler. In
addition to his parents, Mr. Kibbler was also preceded in
death by his first wife, Susan Henrietta McWherter; a
sister, Nellie Sue Kibbler; and five brothers, Albert,
Charles, Johnnie, Bennie, and Aubrey Kibbler.
Mr. Kibbler is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Brown
Kibbler of Palmersville; and a sister, Katheryn Williams of
Warren, Michigan.
Jerry Gail Donoho
Jerry Gail Donoho, 61 of Palmersville, died April 12, 2008,
at his home. Funeral services for Mr. Donoho were held
Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 12:00 noon at Union Chapel
Church of Christ in Palmersville. Burial followed in Old
Bethel Cemetery in Palmersville. Bro. Gary Dale Smith and
Bro. Shannon Seaton officiated the services.
Mr. Donoho was retired from Bell South Telephone Company. He
was a member of Union Chapel Church of Christ in
Palmersville, a member of the Palmersville Masonic Lodge
#121, a 32 degree Mason, and Scottish Rite-Valley of
Atlanta, Orient of Georgia. Mr. Donoho was born September
23, 1946 in Palmersville to the late Harvey Clinton and
Virginia Earl Griffith Donoho. In addition to his parents,
Mr. Donoho was also preceded in death by a brother, Stephen
Donoho.
Mr. Donoho is survived by two daughters, Onda (Marty)
Sheridan of Murray, Kentucky, and Michelle (Brent)
Montgomery of Palmersville; a son, Jerremy (Kerri) Donoho of
Springfield, Tennessee; two sisters, Sylvia Rickman of
Murray, Kentucky, Janice (Don) Laws of Fayetteville,
Georgia; two brothers, Kenneth (Brenda) Donoho of
Palmersville, and Joseph (Linda Jo) Donoho of Springfield; a
sister-in-law, Beverly Donoho of Palmersville; and five
grandchildren, Griffen and Maronda Sheridan, Alex and Nate
Montgomery, and Allison Donoho.
Patricia Ann Johnson
Patricia Ann Johnson, 57, of Martin, died Friday, April 18,
2008, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Graveside
services for Mrs. Johnson were held Tuesday, April 22, 2008,
at 11:00 a.m. at Eastside Cemetery. Clayton Willis
officiated the services.
Mrs. Johnson was a Wal-Mart Sales Associate. She was born
June 15, 1950 in Weakley County.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Terry Johnson of
Martin; her mother, Lorraine Lee of Martin; a daughter,
Stacey (Beau) Pemberton of Martin; a sister, Dorothy (Danny)
Burkett of Martin; a brother, James Michael Lee of Martin;
and a granddaughter, Sarah of Martin.
Philip Neil Taylor
Philip Neal Taylor passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008, at
his home in Aransas Pass, Texas at the age of 58. He was
born December 20, 1949 in Martin to Basil Eskridge Taylor
and Florence Marie Doran Taylor. He served in the United
States Air Force from 1969 until 1979 and was honorably
discharged as a Sergeant. Prior to moving to Ingleside and
Aransas Pass, Texas he lived in Fayette, Missouri, Glasgow,
Missouri and Dresden. He worked as an equipment operator for
the City of Glasgow, Missouri and the City of Ingleside,
Texas.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents and a son,
Clifford Neil Taylor.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Leshia ReNay Taylor of
Aransas Pass, Texas; three sons, Christopher Neil Taylor of
Dresden, James Wayne O'Bryan of Cameron, Missouri, and
Quentin Scott O'Bryan of Alexandria, Virginia; two
daughters, Jennifer Neal Taylor of Dresden, and Tori Desirae
Taylor of Aransas Pass, Texas; one brother, Garry Lynn
(Carol) Taylor of Dresden; and four grandchildren, Lauren
Taylor, Liddia Foster and Brody Taylor, all of Dresden, and
Alexys Dorkins of Boonville, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 20, 2008, at 6:00
p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Aransas
Pass. Interment will be private at a later date.
Ruth Brann Tuck
Ruth Brann Tuck, 87, of Dresden, died April 17, 2008, at
Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Center in Dresden. Funeral
services for Mrs. Tuck were held Saturday, April 19, 2008,
at 1:00 p.m. at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden.
Burial followed in Wesley Chapel Cemetery near Dresden. Bro.
Dan Leslie officiated the services.
Mrs. Tuck was a retired Aide with Dresden Elementary School
and a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church near Dresden.
She was a native of Weakley County and the daughter of the
late James Boyd and Fannie Vera Workman Brann. In addition
to her parents, Mrs. Tuck was also preceded in death by her
husband, Mr. Finis Warren Tuck.
Mrs. Tuck is survived by two daughters, Barbara Tuck of
Dresden, and Debbie Plumlee of Dresden; a son, Richard B. (SuJin)
Tuck of Woodbridge, Virginia; a sister, Shirley Hunter of
Jackson; a brother, Bill (Wanda) Brann of Jackson; three
grandchildren, Jay (Buffy) Crawford of Jackson, Beth King of
Martin, and Christina Tuck of Woodbridge; and two
great-grandchildren, Kane and Aiden King.
