Dorothy Evelyn Seymour Dorothy Evelyn Seymour, 78, of Sharon, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Funeral services for Mrs. Seymour were held Sunday, May 6, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel in Sharon. Burial followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Tim Riley officiated the services. Mrs. Seymour was a homemaker. She was born December 25, 1928 in Perry County, Tennessee. Mrs. Seymour is survived by her husband, Donald Elvis Seymour of Sharon; two sons, Douglas (Deana) Seymour of Jackson, and Jerome (Elaine) Seymour of Martin; a brother, Orla Cotham of Sharon; a sister, Maggie Hall of Sharon; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Ernest Lee Jolley Ernest Lee Jolley, 96, of Dresden, died Monday, April 30, 2007, at Weakley County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Dresden. Funeral services for Mr. Jolley were held Thursday, May 3, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. Bro. Wayne Perkins and Bro. Gary Wilson officiated the services. Mr. Jolley was a farmer and owner of Ernest Jolley Tobacco Company. He was a 1928 graduate of Dresden High School. Mr. Jolley was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Dresden and the ASCS Committee for over 30 years. He was a native of Fancy Farm, Kentucky and the son of the late Rufus Lee and Alma Dowdy Jolley. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jolley was also preceded in death by his wives, Farrah Mae Cooper Jolley and Ruby Bell Tilley Sadler Jolley; a son, Bobby Wayne Jolley; a sister, Francis Adams; and a brother, Bernard Jolley. Mr. Jolley is survived by a son, John Lee (Sandra) Jolley of Dresden; a sister, Vitula Bass of Lansing, Michigan; three grandchildren, Brent Jolley of Dresden, David Jolley of Dresden, and Jennifer Garner of Dresden; and seven great-grandchildren. Terry L. Ellis Terry L. Ellis, 64, of Gleason, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services for Mr. Ellis were held Saturday, May 5, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Gleason First Baptist Church with Bro. Pete Tackett and Bro. Gene Price officiating. Interment followed at Hopewell Cemetery in Gleason. Mr. Ellis, a retired truck driver, was born on October 5, 1942 to Joner and Ruby Ellis. He was a member of Davis Memorial Baptist Church in Dresden. He was preceded in death by his father, Joner Ellis. Mr. Ellis is survived by his wife, Jane Foster Ellis of Gleason; his mother, Ruby Ellis of Gleason; two daughters, Tonya (Doug) Hodges of Gleason, and Tammy (Stacy) Collins of Gleason; two sisters, Shirley Gooch of Huntingdon, and Peggy Roberts of Gleason; and five grandchildren, Mallary, Jacob, and Becca Hodges, and Kaitlyn and Keaton Collins.
