Doreen Ann "Aunt Reenie" Odom Doreen Ann "Aunt Reenie" Odom, 43, of Martin, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Funeral services for Mrs. Odom were held Monday, March 19, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. Bro. Stan Brooks officiated the services. Mrs. Odom was a Catholic by faith. She was a native of New York, New York. Mrs. Odom is survived by her nephew, whom she reared, Michael Odom of Dresden; her parents, Dan and Doris Moll Vitale, Sr. of Martin; three sisters, Darlene Vitale of Dresden, Dawn Mills of Dresden, and Diane Vitale of Martin; a brother, Dan Vitale, Jr. of Martin; thirteen nieces and nephews; and one great-nephew.
Mae C. Horn Mae C. Horn, 73, of Greenfield, died Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Oak Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services for Ms. Horn were held Saturday, March 24, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Hornbeak Cemetery in Greenfield. Roy Auvenshine officiated the services. Ms. Horn had formerly worked at Kellwood Manufacturing. She was born August 27, 1933 in Greenfield. She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Cates. Ms. Horn is survived by a son, David Horn of Greenfield; two daughters, Sherry (Horn) Park of Camden, and Kathy Puritt of Paris; her mother, Mildred Cates of Greenfield; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Martha Juanita Johnson Martha Juanita Johnson, 85, of Sharon, died Saturday, March 24, 2007, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson were held Monday, March 26, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Sharon Church of Christ. Burial followed in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Bro. Larry Powers officiated the services. Mrs. Johnson was retired from Chanbers-Godfrey Company and Mar-Tenn Hamm Co. She was also a member of the Sharon Church of Christ. Mrs. Johnson was born December 15, 1921 in Obion County to the late Alvin Baxter Stanley and Florence Hoffman Todd. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Michael Mansfield and Holly Johnson. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Mr. Robert T. Johnson of Sharon; two sons, Bob Johnson (Sandra) of Dresden, and Larry Johnson (Ruth) of Gadsden, Tennessee; two daughters, Brenda Mansfield (Frank) of Sharon, and Betty Tate of Jackson; eight grandchildren, Vanessa Burnneo, Shawn Johnson, Greg Mansfield, Melissa Wilson, Tony Tate, Teresa Tate, Todd Johnson, and Annie Husband; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Ronald Gene Hugueley Ronald Gene Hugueley, 53, of Gleason, died Saturday, March 24, 2007, at his home. Funeral services for Mr. Hugueley were held Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie. Burial followed in New Valley Cemetery in Gleason. Bro. Gene Price officiated the services. Mr. Hugueley was born February 5, 1954 in Weakley County. He was preceded in death by his father, G.H. Hugueley. Mr. Hugueley is survived by a son, Freddie Gene Hugueley; a daughter, Youvhanda Stone of Dresden; his mother and stepfather, Joyce Ann Bolton Mingle and Joe Mingle; two brothers, Edward Allen Hugueley of Dresden, and Donald Ray Hugueley of Latham; and three grandchildren.
