Brenda Kay Gatewood Doster Brenda Kay Gatewood Doster, 58, of Dresden, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Doster were held Thursday, May 31, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. Bro. Larry Reagan and Bro. Roy Auvenshine officiated the services. Mrs. Doster worked as a beautician, florist, nursery worker, and homemaker. She was a member of Alamo Baptist Church near Rives. Mrs. Doster was a native of Weakley County and the daughter of the late Ralph Maynard and Allie B. Anderson Gatewood. Mrs. Doster is survived by her husband, Mr. Donald Ray Doster of Dresden; a daughter, Deanna (David) Freeman of Lebanon, Tennessee; two sons, Troy (Julie) Doster of Hanson, Kentucky; and Jake Doster of Dresden; two sisters, Diania Spaulding of Union City, and Reba Montgomery of Palmersville; a brother, Wendell Gatewood of Palmersville; and seven grandchildren. Estelle Winstead McAlister Estelle Winstead McAlister, 84, of Fulton, Kentucky, died Sunday, June 3, 2007, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. Funeral services for Mrs. McAlister will be held today, Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton. Burial will follow in Wesley Cemetery in Fulton. Mrs. McAlister was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Fulton and was a homemaker. She was born July 17, 1922 in Weakley County to the late Bernice and Fannie (Nanney) Winstead. She had lived in this area all of her life. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McAlister was also preceded in death by a son, Duane McAlister; three brothers; and three sisters. Mrs. McAlister is survived by her husband, whom she married September 12, 1942, Duward B. McAlister of Fulton, Kentucky; a daughter, Cathy Hooper of Wichita, Kansas; a daughter-in-law, Glenda McAlister of Severna Park, Maryland; four grandchildren, Travis Hooper of Wichita, Kansas, Lauryn McAlister, Darrin McAlister, and Meredith McAlister, all of Severna Park, Maryland; a brother, Donald Winstead of Warren, Illinois; and three sisters, Nell Jones of Fluorescent, Missouri, Alma Holmes of Jackson, Tennessee, and Glenda Duke of Chicago, Illinois. Joseph Stanley Wojcieszek Joseph Stanley Wojcieszek, 86, of Sharon, died Friday, May 25, 2007, at Martin Health Care. Funeral services for Mr. Wojcieszek were held Sunday, May 27, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in Sharon. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Father Joe Paolozzi officiated the services. Mr. Wojcieszek was an electrician and a veteran of the United States Army. He was born October 14, 1920 on Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Wojcieszek is survived by a son, Martin Milner of Sharon; and two grandchildren. Mabron W. "Sonny" Clem Mabron W. "Sonny" Clem, born to parents Mabron Pierce and Emma Christine (Lively) Clem on April 30, 1935, in Elmont, Alabama. He moved to Martin at the age of nine, and graduated from Martin High School in 1952. He relocated to Lansing, Michigan in 1953. Mr. Clem served two years in the U.S. Army in Germany. He graduated from Northward University and retired in November 1997 from GM as General Supervisor in Experimental Engineering with 43 years and 9 months of service. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Ann; two daughters, Tennie (Terry) Barrett and Tara (Robert) Kennan; son, Steven (Jennie) Clem; grandchildren, Tambi and Dillon Barrett, Cass, Crystal, and Mitchell Kennan, and predeceased granddaughter, Lacey Barrett in 1986; two sisters, Virginia (Claude) Yarbrough and Sue (Norman) Maynard; brother, Joe (Judy) Clem; many great-nieces; and 1 great-nephew. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at 12:00 p.m. at Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home in DeWitt, Michigan with the Rev. Charles D. Grauer officiating. Interment followed at Gunnisonville Cemetery in Lansing, Michigan. Mack Louis Riggs Mack Louis Riggs, 100, of Dresden, died Monday, May 28, 2007, at Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Center in Dresden. Funeral services for Mr. Riggs were held Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden. Bro. Tony Terrell officiated the services. Mr. Riggs was a carpenter and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Dresden. He was a native of Weakley County and the son of the late Henry and Mallie Byars Riggs. In addition to his parents, Mr. Riggs was also preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Mae Buckley Riggs; three sisters, Annie Campbell, Virginia Cooper, and Hattie Kennedy; two brothers, Thomas Riggs and J.B. Riggs; a half-brother, Sam Garner; and two grandchildren. Mr. Riggs is survived by two daughters, Marjorie (Richard) Cooper of Dresden, and Shirley Norvell of Trenton; two sons, Marion (Elizabeth) Riggs of Dresden, and Jerry (Joy) Riggs of Dresden; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Russell Guy Wiley Russell Guy Wiley, 85, of Martin, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at Martin Health Care. Funeral services for Mr. Wiley were held Thursday, May 31, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel in Sharon. Burial followed in Tansil Cemetery. Brent Arnold officiated the services. Mr. Wiley was a farmer and a veteran of the United States Army. He was born September 29, 1921 in Gibson County. Mr. Wiley is survived by a daughter, Patricia Narit of Japan; two sons, Bobby Wiley of Sharon, and James Wiley of Sharon; six half-sisters, Kay Orr of Sharon, Ann Gardner of Martin, Carol Garrett of Martin, Grace McKay of Martin, Linda Muzzall of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Sue Wilson of Martin; and seven grandchildren. William Danny Spencer William Danny Spencer, 49, of Martin, died Monday, May 28, 2007, at his home. Funeral services for Mr. Spencer were held Friday, June 1, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Martin Church of Christ. Burial followed in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Bro. John Dale officiated the services. Mr. Spencer managed the Cine Theatre and owned and operated Movies To Go in Martin. He was a graduate of Murray High School in Murray, Kentucky and a member of the Martin Church of Christ. He was born April 15, 1958 in Murray, Kentucky to the late W.O. Spencer and Chalista Swift Spencer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Spencer was also preceded in death by a brother, Dwayne Spencer. Mr. Spencer is survived by his wife, Sherri Mills Spencer of Martin; a son, William Hunter Spencer of Martin; a daughter, Christene Ellen Spencer of Martin; and a sister, Sharon Shultz of Murray, Kentucky.
