Arthur Liscomb

     Arthur Liscomb, 89, of Huntingdon, died Friday, December 22, 2006, at Huntingdon Health and Rehab Center. Graveside services for Mr. Liscomb were held Sunday, December 24, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Hopewell Cemetery in Gleason.
     Mr. Liscomb was retired from the United States Navy. He had served in WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Mr. Liscomb was born May 23, 1917 in McKenzie to the late Calloway and Ada Harris Liscomb.
     Mr. Liscomb is survived by three nieces, Peggy Adams of Paris, Pat Washam of Gleason, and Kaye Lenord of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Charles W. Hubble

     Charles W. Hubble, 62, of Greenfield, died Thursday, December 21, 2006, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Graveside services for Mr. Hubble were held Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Meridian Cemetery in Greenfield. Bill Horner officiated the services.
     Mr. Hubble worked for Goodyear and was a farmer. He was born June 3, 1944 in Greenfield to the late Carl Hubble and Mary Barner.
     Mr. Hubble is survived by a daughter, Tracy Hubble of Greenfield; two sons, Jeff McCollum of Greenfield, and Cory Hubble of Greenfield; and one grandchild.

Frances Willard Foster

     Frances Willard Foster, 87, died Sunday, December 17, at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 20, at 11:00 a.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Doster officiating. Entombment followed at Carroll Memorial Gardens.
     Mrs. Foster, a retired maintenance worker for the McKenzie Special School District, was born December 9, 1919 in McKenzie to the late John and Lula Stafford McClure. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bro. Robert Leon Foster.
     Survivors include: two sons, Darrell (Wanda) Foster of McKenzie and Don (Teresa) Foster of McKenzie; two daughters, Carolyn Crocker of McKenzie and Jane (Terry) Ellis of Gleason; one brother, Billy McClure of Dickson; one sister, Maureen Hopper of Atwood; ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Harold G. Cranford

     Harold G. Cranford, 77, of Milan, died Friday, December 22, 2006, at Milan General Hospital. Graveside services for Mr. Cranford were held Sunday, December 24, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Meridian Cemetery in Greenfield. Keith Pence officiated the services.
     Mr. Cranford was born April 8, 1929 in Weakley County to the late Hubie Cranford and Virgie Brush.
     Mr. Cranford is survived by a sister, Louise (Cranford) Mebane of McKenzie.

Jack Lee Gibson

     Jack Lee Gibson, 56, of Cottage Grove, died Thursday, December 28, 2006, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Memorial services for Mr. Gibson will be held Saturday, January 6, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden. Dr. John Lowrance will officiate the service.
     Mr. Gibson was a retired salesman for Sherwin Williams and a member of Fowlkes United Methodist Church in Fowlkes, Tennessee. He was a native of Trenton, Michigan and the son of the late Claude and Eula Morris Gibson.
     Mr. Gibson is survived by a daughter, Cherry Candice Ginn of Bartlett, Tennessee; a son, Anthony Keith Gibson of Nashville; his foster father, Harry P. Smith of Dyersburg; his foster mother, Opal Mae Corsaw of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two sisters, Helen Hunter of Dyersburg, and Gail Schinder of Texas; a foster sister, Sherry Hilliard of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; a brother, Albert Lee Gibson of Buchanan; and a foster brother, Larry E. Smith of Dyersburg.

Odell Yeargin

     Odell Yeargin, 95, of Greenfield, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden. Funeral services for Mrs. Yeargin were held Friday, December 29, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Hermon Methodist Church. Burial followed in Mount Hermon Cemetery in Greenfield. Randy Stacy officiated the services.
     Mrs. Yeargin was a homemaker and factory worker at Kellwood Co. She also attended Mt. Hermon Methodist Church in Greenfield. Mrs. Yeargin was born June 12, 1911 in Gibson County to the late Charlie Wren and Mary Gorman. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Yeargin was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Harry L. Yeargin; a son, Mr. Bobby D. Yeargin; and one granddaughter, Mrs. Marsha Holt.
     Mrs. Yeargin is survived by a son, Charles (Magdaline) Yeargin of Greenfield; a daughter, Christine (Ron) Rhodes of Johnson City, Tennessee; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
