basketball player McKale Jones will be a member of the
Athletes in Action team to compete in a summer tour to
France, Aug. 10-25.
Athletes in Action France is one of seven men's college
basketball teams competing internationally this summer.
Athletes in Action will play play professional club
teams in France.
Jason Grunkemeyer, assistant coach at Saint Louis
University, will coach the AIA France team.
Among the other players on the team are Kevin Lisch,
Saint Louis; Ajay Calvin, Drake University; Ryan Sears,
Creighton; Dane Watts, Creighton; Anthony Tolliver,
Creighton; Tim Bush, Baylor; Daven Harmeling, Washington
State; Trent Meacham, Illinois; Rob Kampman, Wichita
State; and Bryan Richardson, West Florida.
Jones played in 27 games for Tennessee-Martin and
averaged 6.4 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. He shot
53.5 percent from the field and 63.4 percent from the
free throw line. |
