Mr. Lois "Skinner" Lee

    
Mr. Lois "Skinner" Lee, 95, of Dresden, died Friday, November 10,2006 at Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden. Funeral services were held Sunday, November 11,2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel in Sharon. Burial followed in Tansil Cemetery. Rev. Lowell Wiley officiated the services.
     Mr. Lee was born on March 31,1911. He was a framer.
     Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Carlene Lee, and a daughter, Beverly Jones.
     He is survived by two daughters, Betty Ellzey of Sardis, Mississippi, Joyce Workman of Memphis and one sister, Ruby Nelson of Sharon, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Thelma Dunning Smith

    
Mrs. Thelma Dunning Smith, 97, of Martin, died Saturday, November 11, 2006, at the Madison Health Care in Nashville. Graveside services for Mrs. Smith were held Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at 12:00 noon at the East Side Cemetery in Martin with burial following. Rev. Mark Abbott officiated the services. Murphy Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
     Mrs. Smith was a Homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was also a 50 year member of the Bob Reavis Chapter of Eastern Star. Mrs. Smith was born September 9, 1909 in Greenfield to the late Thomas A. Dunning and Elizabeth Betty Hardy Dunning. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Clyde Smith and a brother, Raymond T. Dunning.
     Mrs. Smith is survived by a son, George T. Smith (Brenda) of Nashville; a daughter, Patsy Ann Smith (Bill) of Muskegon, Michigan; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Ronald William Brewer

     Ronald William Brewer, 38, of Palmersville, died Monday, November 6,2006, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Funeral services for Mr. Brewer were held Thursday, November 9,2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Old Bethel Baptist Church in Palmersville. Burial followed in Old Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Don Gregory officiated the services.
     Mr. Brewer was a forklift operator at the Tecumseh plant in Paris, Tennessee.
     He was born on November 11, 1967 to Bill and Virginia Phillip Brewer. Along with his parents he is survived by a brother, Shane Alexander Brewer of Palmersville and a sister Nanette Copeland of Palmersville.

Mr. Dan S. Oldham

     Mr. Dan S. Oldham, 66, of Martin, died Sunday, November 12, 2006, at the St. Frances Hospital in Memphis. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 15, 2006, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services for Mr. Oldham will be held Thursday, November 16, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. in the Murphy Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the East Side Cemetery in Martin. Rev. Roger S. Oldham and Rev. Brady Weldon will officiate the services.
     Mr. Oldham worked for Argo-Collier Trucking Corporation, Martin Lime and Gravel, Cecil Nanney and Sons Trucking and Doyle Sims Trucking Company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a graduate of Martin High School. Mr. Oldham was born July 6, 1940 in Martin to the late Curtis Smith Oldham and Mary Louise Stroud Oldham. In addition to his parents, Mr. Oldham was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Lou Oldham.
     Mr. Oldham is survived by his wife, Martha Sue Vincent Oldham of Martin; three daughters, Mary Beth Oldham of Martin, Laurie Lynn Oldham of Martin and Lee Ann Oldham of Martin; one brother Glynn Oldham of Martin; and a sister, Patsy Fleming of Covington.

Ronald Elgie Flowers

     Ronald Elgie Flowers, 51, of Greenfield, died Sunday, November 5, 2006, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Funeral services for Mr. Flowers will be held today, Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial will follow in Hornbeak Cemetery in Greenfield. Bro. Terry Griffin will officiate the services.
     Mr. Flowers was a farmer and a factory worker. He attended Bethlehem Baptist Church in Greenfield. Mr. Flowers was born November 24, 1954 in Greenfield.
     Mr. Flowers is survived by his father, Elgie Flowers of Greenfield; his mother, Barbara Taylor of Bradford; three sisters, Judy (Flowers) Seymore of Bradford, Donna Flowers of Franklin, Tennessee, and Karen (Flowers) Schwahn of Martin; and a brother, Gary Flowers of Greenfield.

Sara Mason Robinson

     Sara Mason Robinson, 62, of Sharon, died Saturday, November 4, 2006, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Robinson were held Monday, November 6, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel in Sharon. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Dr. Jerry Summers officiated the services.
     Mrs. Robinson was retired from the retail business. She was born October 1, 1944 in Memphis.
     Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband, Terry Robinson of Sharon; two daughters, Denise Clark and Melissa McCollough; a son, Terry Robinson, Jr.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.
