Edward V. Boucher, Jr.

     Edward V. Boucher, Jr., 50, of Dukedom, died Monday, August 21, 2006, at Baptist Hospital in Union City. Graveside services for Mr. Boucher will be held today, Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant View Cemetery. Rev. Joe Williamson will officiate the services.
     Mr. Boucher worked at M.T.D. He was born April 14, 1956 in Nashville to the late Edward Vance Boucher, Sr. and Agnes Marie Dowell Boucher. In addition to his parents, Mr. Boucher was also preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Diane Johnson.
     Mr. Boucher is survived by a brother, David C. Boucher of Martin; and a sister, Doris Faye Russell of Nashville.

Faye Ellis

     Faye Ellis, 67, of Dresden, died Tuesday, August 15, 2006, at Jackson-Madison County Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Ellis were held Thursday, August 17, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at White-Ranson Funeral Home, Inc. in Union City. Burial followed in Antioch Cemetery in Hornbeak. Bro. Bruce McCartney officiated the services.
     Mrs. Ellis was born October 21, 1938 in Hohenwald, Tennessee to the late Hurman Spurgeon and Anna Laura (Adair) Spurgeon. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ellis was also preceded in death by her husband, whom she married in October 1969, Hoyt Blair Ellis.
     Mrs. Ellis is survived by two daughters, Laura Deanna Hale of Walnut, Mississippi, and Lori Diane Dean of Dresden; a son, Christopher Blair Ellis of Dresden; two stepsons, Gary William Ellis of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Randall Lee Ellis of Kissimmee, Florida; three sisters, Betty Lund of Dyersburg, Mary Boswell of Dresden, and Kathleen Liggons of Dyersburg; seven grandchildren, Brandy Michelle Kirk of Ripley, Mississippi, April Renee Swinford of Walnut, Mississippi, Leanna Faye Hale of Corinth, Mississippi, Kimberly Diane Jarred of Dresden, Jackie Dewayne Buster Dean of Dresden, Christopher Austin Blake Ellis of Dresden, and Harley Ray Ellis of Gleason; one great-grandchild, Steven Andrew Swinford of Walnut, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews.

Jayson Lee Carlton

     Funeral services for Jayson Lee Carlton, 33, of Memphis, were held Wednesday, August 16, 2006, at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield.
     Mr. Carlton is survived by a son, Robbie Olverson of Norfolk, Virginia; a daughter, Alexis McCrary of Corinth, Mississippi; his father, Ronald Joe and wife, Jayne Parrish Carlton of Huntsville, Alabama; his mother, Becky and husband, Rickey Thompson of Memphis; a sister, Amber Carlton of Memphis; and grandparents, Charles and Sue Maness of Greenfield and Ethel Essary of Huntsville, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, J.C. Essary of Greenfield.

Relma Gardner

     Relma Gardner, 83, of Sharon, died Thursday, August 17, 2006, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Gardner were held Saturday, August 19, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at Beech Grove Community Church. Burial followed in Tansil Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Gardner and Rev. Bob Hull officiated the services.
     Mrs. Gardner was a homemaker. She was born August 4, 1923 in Dyersburg.
     Mrs. Gardner is survived by her husband, Wilburn Gardner of Sharon; a son, Jimmy (Marcia) Gardner of Sharon; two daughters, Cathy (Ronnie) Stephenson of Trenton, and Shirley (Jimmy) Washburn of Sharon; two sisters, Ozella Hill of Memphis, and Mildred Hogg of Little Rock, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
