Both the Dresden Lady Lions and Lions got their
2005-06 district schedule off on the right foot as both claimed wins
over Bradford on Tuesday night at Dresden High School.
The Lady Lions got their first win of the
season on Tuesday night as they defeated the Lady Red Devils 48-40.
In the nightcap, the Lions got a decisive victory, claiming a 77-51
win over the Red Devils.

The Lady Red Devils kept it close for the
entire game, but the Lady Lions pulled away late to get the win.

The Red Devils were able to keep the game close
for a quarter, but a strong second-quarter performance by the Lions
gave Dresden its first district win of the season.
Gleason ends district losing
skid with blowout of SF Red Devils

After dropping their first district
game on Tuesday night, the Gleason Bulldogs evened their
District 14-A record on Friday night as the Dawgs defeated
the South Fulton Red Devils 61-31. The win was the Bulldogs
first district win since November 2002.
Earlier in the night, Gleason’s girls
continued their winning streak, topping South Fulton 63-34.

As the Lady Dawgs have done for most of the season thusfar,
jumping out to a big lead early to take their second
district win of the season

Yellowjackets Split With Halls

You win some and you lose some, as Greenfield was
very well reminded in their contest against the visiting
Halls Tigers Friday night. Though the Lady 'Jackets took the
opening game of the night, the Halls boys came out
victorious in the other game of the night.

Unfortunately for Greenfield fans, the
boys did not fare as well against their Halls opponents as
the girls did.
