Charles T. Parham, Jr.
Charles T. Parham, Jr., 92, of Woodstock, Connecticut, died
Monday, February 28, 2005, at Webster Manor Nursing Home in
Webster, Massachusetts. Funeral services for Mr. Parham will
be held today, Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at
Howard Allen Funeral Home in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
Following the service, burial will be held at Mt. View
Cemetery in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. The Rev. David Baird
will give the service.
Mr. Parham was a graduate of Hume Fogg High School in
Nashville. He was a civilian employee of the U.S. Signal
Corps during WWII. Afterwards, he was the proprietor of
McGrath Radio and Appliance in Southbridge, Massachusetts
for thirty-two years retiring in 1982. Mr. Parham was an
avid Amateur Radio operator and a member of the American
Radio Relay League. He was a lifetime member of the
Southbridge Rotary Club, being named a Paul Harris Fellow.
Mr. Parham was born February 20, 1913 in McKenzie to the
late Charles T. Parham, Sr. and Johnnie Amaz Welch Parham.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mr. Parham is survived by his wife, Mabelle Parham of
Woodstock, Connecticut; three children, Carol A. Sepowitz of
Uncasville, Connecticut, Charles T. Parham, III of South
Deerfield, Massachusetts, and John D. Parham of Woodstock,
Connecticut; and four grandchildren. He is predeceased by a
brother, John D. Parham; and a sister, Frances Leclair.
George Daniel "Danny" Bradberry
George Daniel "Danny" Bradberry, 52, of Gleason, died
Friday, March 4, 2005, at McKenzie Regional Hospital in
McKenzie.
Mr. Bradberry was disabled. He was born September 17, 1952
in Paris. Mr. Bradberry was preceded in death by his father,
Norman Edward Bradberry; and a brother, Larry Bradberry.
Mr. Bradberry is survived by his wife, Sandra Dawn Waller
Bradberry; a stepdaughter, Angela Dawn Scott of Dresden; his
mother, Martha Sue Owen Bradberry of Gleason; and two
sisters, Linda Gibbons of Pinson, Tennessee, and Shelia
Keeling of Gleason.
Gerald Joe Culham
Gerald Joe Culham, 82, of Dresden, died Thursday, March 3,
2005, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Mr. Culham was retired from the State of Michigan. He was a
veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy and a
member of the First United Methodist Church in Dresden. Mr.
Culham was born in Lansing, Michigan to the late Walter and
Ollie Francherd Culham.
Mr. Culham is survived by his wife, Mrs. Oma Lee Culham of
Dresden; a daughter, Penny Culham of Lansing, Michigan; four
sons, Gary Culham of Atlanta, Michigan, Barry Culham of
Haslett, Michigan, Robert Newman of Sarasota, Florida, and
David Davis of Fontana, California; a sister, Beulah Whipple
of Lansing, Michigan; thirteen grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren.
Lena B. Griffin
Lena B. Griffin, 92, of McKenzie, died Monday, February 28,
2005, at McKenzie Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs.
Griffin were held Tuesday, March, 1, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at
Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial followed in
Carroll County Memorial Gardens in Huntingdon. Bro. Dennis
Beal officiated the services.
Mrs. Griffin was a homemaker. She was born September 6, 1912
in Gleason to the late Joe Bynum and Bertie Crocker. In
addition to her parents, Mrs. Griffin was also preceded in
death by her husband, O.B. Griffin.
Mrs. Griffin is survived by a son, L.J. Griffin of
Greenfield; and fifteen grandchildren.
William Hal Hunt
William Hal Hunt, 71, of Sharon, died Sunday, February 27,
2005, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Funeral
services for Mr. Hunt were held Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at
2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. Burial followed in
Corinth Cemetery in Sharon. Dr. Jerry Summers, Rev. Randy
Potts, and Rev. Ryan Potts officiated the services.
Mr. Hunt was a hog farmer and a veteran of the United States
Army. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church, the
American Legion, and the Elks Lodge. Mr. Hunt was born June
16, 1933 in Weakley County to the late William Paul Hunt and
Evelina Adams. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hunt was also
preceded in death by two sisters, Relma Holt and Annie Mae
Lecornu; a brother, Eather Hunt; and two infant brothers.
Mr. Hunt is survived by his wife, Joyce (Jolley) Hunt of
Sharon; a son, Michael Hal Hunt (wife, Victoria) of
Brentwood; a daughter, Kim Gibbons (husband, Jeff) of
Sharon; grandchildren, Toni Gibbons, Jeff Gibbons II,
Kristie Hazelwood (husband, Michael), Alisha Gibbons, Paul
William Hunt, Ryan Skinner, and Jill Skinner;
great-grandchildren, Ethan Sweatt, Andrew Sweatt, Riley
Hazelwood, and Keylie Burton; and a brother, George Hunt of
Sharon.
Dorothy B. Moseley
Dorothy B. Moseley, 89, of Greenfield, died Friday, March 4,
2005, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin. Funeral
services for Mrs. Moseley were held Monday, March 7, 2005,
at 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial
followed in Highland Cemetery in Greenfield. Dr. Roy Whaley
and Rev. Tim Foster officiated the services.
Mrs. Moseley worked as a business woman for ENJ Brock Co.
and attended the First Presbyterian Church. She was born
June 6, 1915 in Greenfield to the late W.A. Barton and Maude
Jeter. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moseley was also
preceded in death by her husband, Harold Moseley.
Mrs. Moseley is survived by a son, Bob Moseley of
Greenfield.
George E. Fowler
George E. Fowler, 72, of Romeoville, Illinois, died Tuesday,
March 1, 2005, at Meadow Brook Nursing Home. Funeral
services for Mr. Fowler were held Saturday, March 5, 2005,
at 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial
followed in Brock's Cemetery in Greenfield. Charles Fowler
officiated the services.
Mr. Fowler was a Baptist by faith. He was born May 20, 1932
in Corinth, Mississippi.
Mr. Fowler is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Fowler)
Estep of Romeoville, Illinois, and Debra Fore of Sherifield,
Alabama; two brothers, Mack Ray Fowler of Corinth,
Mississippi, and Montize Fowler of Corinth, Mississippi; two
sisters, Elnior Choate of Corinth, Mississippi, and Sussie
Gullage of Corinth, Mississippi; four grandchildren; and
four great-grandchildren.
Jeff William (JW) Harville
Jeff William (JW) Harville, 67, of Big Sandy, died Saturday,
February 26, 2005, at Camden General Hospital in Camden.
Funeral services for Mr. Harville were held Tuesday, March
1, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in
Dresden. Burial followed in Blooming Grove Cemetery in
Palmersville. Elder Calvin Warren and Elder Ed Long
officiated the services.
Mr. Harville was a retired truck driver for Almon-Dial
Trucking. He was a member of the Million Mile Truck Club,
with many safety awards, and a Deacon of Blooming Grove
Primitive Baptist Church in Palmersville. Mr. Harville was
born in Lee County, Mississippi to the late Jeff and Etta
Robinson Harville.
Mr. Harville is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mavis Warren
Harville of Big Sandy; two daughters, Gwen Canada of
Independence, Mississippi, and Jennifer Chapman of Big
Sandy; a son, Sammy Harville of Camden; a sister, Betty
Warren of Tupelo, Mississippi; six grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
Maurice Wayne Cash
Maurice Wayne Cash, 68, of Greenfield, died Wednesday, March
2, 2005, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Funeral services for Mr. Cash were held Friday, March 4,
2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Greenfield.
Burial followed in Morris Cemetery in Greenfield. Phil
Mitchell officiated the services.
Mr. Cash was a City Engineer for the City of Greenfield for
31 years. He was born April 24, 1936 in Greenfield to the
late Aaron M. Cash and Bertha J. Richards.
Mr. Cash is survived by his wife, Lottie Sue (Bills) Cash of
Greenfield; two sons, Billy Cash (Angela) of Greenfield, and
Barry Cash (Kim) of Greenfield; one grandchild, Tiffany
Cash; and two great-grandchildren, Maddi Cash and Carley
Cash.
