E. Morris
Carolyn E. Morris, 82, of Martin died Tuesday,
December 20,2005, at Volunteer Hospital in Martin.
Services for Mrs. Morris were held Thursday, December
22,2005, at 11:00a.m. at Central Baptist Church . Burial
followed in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Rev. Matt
Brown officiated the services. Murphy Funeral Home was
in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Morris was a homemaker. She was a member of Central
Baptist Church, and a member of the Faith Sunday school
class. Mrs. Morris was born on May 6, 1923 in Obion
County to the late Coy Alexander and Beulah Lee Isbell
Phillips.
Mrs. Morris is survived by her husband, Floyd L. Morris
Jr. of Martin: two daughters, Renee (Jeff) Adams of
Murfreesboro, and Linda (Dan) Blake of Martin; 7
grandchildren, Dreama Blake, David Blake, Amanda Blake
McDearmon, Cord Adams, Meghan Adams, Clay Adams, Cole
Adams; and 5 great-grandchildren, Zach Pyles, Kaitlin
Blakes, Beau Blake, Landon McDearmon, and Luke McDearmon.

Bertha Etta Moon
Mrs. Bertha Etta Moon, 85, of Gleason, died
Friday, December 23, 2005, at the Henry County
Healthcare in Paris. Services for Mrs. Moon were held
Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. in the Bowlin
Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Olive Branch
Cemetery near Como. Bro. Kenny Carr, Bro. Michael
Simmons and Bro. Tom Winchester officiated the services.
Mrs. Moon was a Homemaker. She was a native of Weakley
County and the daughter of the late John Will and Bertha
Etta Stoker Castleman. Mrs. Moon was a member of Jolley
Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Moon is survived by her husband, Mr. James Edwin
Moon of Gleason; a daughter, Lou Ann (Bob) Schafer of
Martin; a son Talbot Moon of Portage, Indiana; a niece,
Sue Highfill of Nashville; four grandchildren and seven
great grandchildren.

R. McKnight
Robert R. McKnight, 75, of Greenfield, died
Sunday, December 25, 2005, at the Weakley County Nursing
Home. Services for Mr. McKnight will be held Thursday,
December 29, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the Williams Funeral
Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Gearin's Chapel
Cemetery in Greenfield. Troy Hollis will officiate the
services.
Mr. McKnight worked for Whitehouse/Akin and Porter for
16 years as a Truck Driver. He was born December 23, 1930
in York, South Carolina to the late Ross McKnight and
Lillie McKnight.
Mr. McKnight is survived by his wife, Jane McKnight of
Greenfield; four step-sons, Robert Childress of
Greenfield, David Childress of Greenfield, Danny
Childress of Jacksonville, Florida and Stanley Childress
of Jacksonville, Florida; two step-daughters, Lilli
Cantrell of Greenfield and Joan Lasseter of
Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Mildred Gardner of
Ocala, Florida and Geraldine Stanley of Ocala, Florida;
a brother, Roger McKnight of Ocala, Florida.

Louise Przygoda
Clara Louise Przygoda, 85, of Sharon, died
Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at the Martin Health Care.
Services for Mrs. Przygoda were held Saturday, December
24, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the Gardner Funeral Home
Chapel. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Rev. Bruce
McCartney officiated the services.
Mrs. Przygoda was a Homemaker. She was born August 16,
1920 in Sharon.
Mrs. Przygoda is survived by her husband, Leonard
Przygoda of Sharon; a son, Joseph Przygoda of Cummings,
Georgia; a brother, Bill Poynter of Sharon; a sister,
Winnie Sims of Sharon; three grandchildren and one great
grandchild.

Ruby Estelle Lamb
Mrs. Ruby Estelle Lamb, 89, of Dresden, died
Friday, December 23, 2005, at the Volunteer Community
Hospital in Martin. Services for Mrs. Lamb were held
Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. in the Bowlin
Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Olive Branch
Cemetery near Como. Bro. Claud Miller Prince and Bro.
Dennis Cobb officiated the services.
Mrs. Lamb was a Seamstress. She was a native of Weakley
County. Mrs. Lamb was the daughter of the late Leamon
Almus and Mattie Lou Cannon Teague and the step-daughter
of the late Vera Bailey Teague. She was a member of the
Dresden Pentecostal Church. In addition to her parents,
Mrs. Lamb was preceded in death by her husband, Halbert
Melton Lamb and her half brother, Elvis Teague.
Mrs. Lamb is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Lamb of
Dresden and Bonnie (Wayne) Marlar of Dresden; her
half-sister, Josie McPeak of Gleason; her half brother,
Alvis Teague of Burton, Michigan; three grandchildren;
four step grandchildren and two step great
grandchildren.
